Peer Review

Welcome! We gave our initial draft to our peers in order to collect some feedback. Here's the recommendations the other groups gave us.

The first group told us we needed to improve our sound quality. The wind and background sounds make it hard to understand the actors at times; we are going to attempt to borrow profession equipment like cameras, microphones, and the to increase the quality in our final draft. They also said we needed to improve our editing; we are discussing alternative software as a group. The group mentioned that we should add a wider variety of camera angles, but we already have plants to improve on those.

The second group said we should put more emphasis and help improve our cameraman's work. The group also recommended a software they used for editing since we have very little experience editing. They also recommended a change in location, which is already planned for the final draft. We filmed this rough draft on the school track since we didn't have access to any other natural environments at the moment, however we already have plans to film the final draft at a nearby park. They also told us we should wait for later in the day to have lower key lighting, we had discussed this but hadn't come to a concrete decision. After hearing this criticism we decided to film it later for the final draft. The atmosphere was a consistent criticizing, as they mentioned that the film felt more relaxed rather than suspense.
