Weakness; The music is too loud, it overpowers the characters voices, making the story unclear.

Strengths: Great camera angles, fast paced editing helping to emphasize the energy of the group  

Takeaways: focus on audio mixing and utilizing camera angles, also stylize your editing.

Strengths: The crosscutting in the beginning to show contrast between what she is forced to do and what she wants to do. 

Weakness: At some points the editing was too fast and made it difficult for the audience to keep track. 

Takeaway: Consider Natural lighting, and ensure the audience can keep track with the plotline.

Strengths: Great color and light, good camera angles, sets the tone perfectly, mise en scene 

Weakness: maybe adjust how often he uses the same camera angles

Takeaway: The importance of lighting and SFx when setting tone.

Weakness: way to quiet in the beginning she should've used diegetic sounds in the beginning, a misuse of close ups

Strengths: the editing was okay, good straight cuts and jump cuts

Takeaway: Focus on camera angles and make sure there's enough audio to draw the audience in.

Weakness: Pointless close ups at the end of the shot, no dialogue, confusing relationships.  

 Takeaway: Making sure the audience can fully understand who everyone is in their roles

Weakness: lost our chronological place in the story, the scene does give enough context. 

Strength: Well used over the shoulder, easy to understand story

Hello! Today in class we made a bunch of different video shots and I wanted to show you all them. I'm also going to explain the angle and why it was used. This is a reverse zoom shot. It helps drive suspense as the audience waits to see my classmates reaction to the image on the screen. This is a dolly shot of my classmate. See here, the dolly shot is used to drive into the main impactful moment, enhancing its effect.  In this shot me and my classmate attempted to recreate a Steadicam by using a rolling chair. Mood Board

  Haunted House I chose to pick images of a mostly dark and eerie atmosphere. This is because the setting was a haunted house, which tend to be dark, creepy and decerped. I wanted the characters to look hostile and the setting to seem gloomy. I want the audience to feel disturbed and potentially unsafe.  A Summer Pool In this moodboard I chose photos of a happier and lighthearted tone. I was attempting to convey simple summer fun! The color schemes are light blue, like the sunny sky and the clear water and brown, to represent stuff like the rocks and tiling around pools, also it mimics sand.  A Desert I chose very few colors, green and brown. I used these two colors to express the emptiness of a dessert, and endless dessert expanse, barren. There's very little here: a person, some dunes, a cactus. Just like how there's not much in a dessert. A City A city is grey and crowded during the day, but quiets down at night, becoming almost eerie. I tried to represent that duality...
